Yoga, meaning union, is the pathway to understanding the simplicity of keeping our Prana, life force, energy flowing. This allows our bodies to experience a higher level of immunity and ease of movement while in a present conscious state of being.

15 Minute Yoga Session for Posture

This series of poses are two sequences that are done with the flow of rhythmic breathing. Each pose can be held for one to five breathes determining the length of the session time. Each pose can be done individually to balance posture at anytime during the day. The importance of attention to alignment will make these simple poses more effective. You will be working on three elements of the ‘core’. The upper back, abdominal area, and the lower back, buttocks. Focus on opening the lines of energy by relaxing and creating space while building strength.
Be with your body where it is today. Remembering ahimsa, non violence.

meditative breathing

standing pose,
shoulder arm circles,
forward bend,
side bends,
arms behind back to forward bend,
squat,
chair pose,
squat.
2 sets

hands and knees ( or down dog) with butt series, one leg,
low lunge,
plank,
1/2 yogi pushup (or full),
child’s pose (or 1/2 dog extreme).
2 sets, one with each leg

abdominals,
twists.
